Meredith has taught journalism, writing, social media and critical thinking courses at universities in Massachusetts. She holds a BA in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, an MA in Political Science from The northeasternAmerican University, and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Bay Path University.

Meredith is a member of the University of Massachusetts’ student newspaper, The Massachusetts Daily Collegian’s alumni advisory board and of Northeastern University’s student newspaper, The Huntington News’ Board of Directors.

Northeastern University, Boston, MA: Currently a lecturer teaching Understanding Today’s News and Journalism 1: The Fundamentals of Reporting for the School of Journalism. Journalism Department’s writing coach.

Bay Path University, Longmeadow, MA: Currently teaching creative nonfiction with Bay Path University’s MFA in creative nonfiction program. Courses taught: Introduction to Narrative Medicine, Mentorship Lab I, and Mentorship Lab II.

Disability Justice Project, Boston, MA: Serve as a mentor with the Disability Justice Project.

Taught Writing for Online and Social Media (a course she designed), Introduction to Journalism and Expository Writing. Served as an assistant adviser to the weekly student newspaper, participated in a professional day workshop with a presentation on using social media in the classroom and delivered a speech about her novel as part of the university’s Authors and Artists program.
